Pad Holding and Finding Range

 

Please watch this video and practice controlling the ball.  You will need a maize ball, floor to ceiling ball, medicine ball or a strong bag to use for this drill

 

 

You should practice this drill for 3 x 1 minute before you move onto the next drill

It’s a great drill to practice and we recommend you perform it once a week too to hone your skills on pads.

 

Finding Range

Watch the video then practice finding your range both with a wall and a moving object. Be careful not to punch the wall directly.

 


Practice each drill 5 times then rest and keep repeating until you can do this perfectly.
